This Payment Policy explains the accepted payment methods, billing practices, and security measures used when you place an order on autoprolift.com. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods at checkout:
Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
PayPal
Other payment options displayed at checkout, where available
All prices on this Site are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Applicable sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address and displayed before you complete your order.
2. When You Are Charged
For most orders, payment is authorized and charged in full at the time you place your order. For certain freight-quoted, made-to-order, or manufacturer-direct equipment, a deposit may be collected at checkout with the balance due before shipment; if this applies to your order, it will be clearly noted on the product page and at checkout before you confirm your purchase.
3. Payment Processing and Security
All payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant, encrypted third-party payment processors. This means:
We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive card data on our servers
Your payment information is transmitted using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption
Card verification (AVS/CVV checks) may be performed automatically to help prevent fraudulent transactions
4. Order Verification and Fraud Prevention
To protect our customers and our business, some orders may be held for manual review before processing, particularly for large-value purchases such as car lifts, tractors, or excavators. If your order is selected for review, we may contact you to confirm billing details, request additional identity verification, or confirm shipping information before releasing the order for fulfillment. This is a routine precaution and does not necessarily indicate a problem with your order.
We reserve the right to cancel any order suspected of fraud, unauthorized card use, or payment error, and to issue a full refund in such cases.
5. Declined or Failed Payments
If your payment is declined at checkout, your order will not be processed. Common reasons include insufficient funds, incorrect card details, an expired card, or a hold placed by your bank due to the transaction size. Please verify your payment details and try again, or contact your bank if the issue persists. If you continue to experience issues, our support team can help troubleshoot alternate payment options.
6. Currency and International Cards
All transactions are processed in U.S. dollars. If you are using a card issued outside the United States, your bank may apply a currency conversion and, in some cases, a foreign transaction fee. These fees are set by your card issuer, not by AutoProlift, and are not included in the price shown at checkout.
7. Sales Tax
Sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on applicable state and local tax rates for your shipping address. Tax-exempt organizations (such as registered resellers or government entities) should contact our support team before placing an order to arrange tax-exempt purchasing with the appropriate documentation.
8. Financing Options
Where available, financing or installment payment options may be offered at checkout through a third-party financing partner. Financing terms, interest rates, and approval are determined entirely by the financing provider and are subject to their own terms and credit approval process. AutoProlift is not a party to the financing agreement and is not responsible for its terms.
9. Invoices and Receipts
An order confirmation and receipt are sent automatically to the email address provided at checkout. If you need a formal invoice for business, tax, or warranty registration purposes, contact our support team with your order number and we will provide one.
10. Refunds to Original Payment Method
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Refund processing times depend on your card issuer or payment provider, but typically appear within 5–10 business days of the refund being issued on our end. See our Refund & Returns Policy for full details on eligibility and processing.
11. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, we ask that you contact our support team directly first — most issues can be resolved quickly without involving your bank. If a chargeback is filed, we will respond with order, shipping, and delivery documentation as part of the standard dispute process. Filing a chargeback for an order that was delivered as described, without first contacting us, may delay resolution.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Payment Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our payment processes or applicable regulations. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
